Two archived versions, one company profile, and every departure listed.
This is an independent rebuild of rabblester.com. The company is out of business and the domain was parked by 2017, so the site is recovered from Internet Archive captures and a company profile.
Two versions of the site existed. In 2014 it was a pre-launch social shopping page; in 2015 it was the customer collaboration product described here. This rebuild follows the 2015 version, and the 2014 copy is recorded on the company page and in the archive.
Provenance
Where each part came from
- The product copy — the archived 2015 home page, transcribed verbatim: the collaboration paragraph, “Ideas discovered differently.”, the three steps and their descriptions, and the beta-invite call to action.
- The four headlines — the site’s own script rotated four headlines; all four are kept and the home page rotates them.
- The logo, the step illustrations and the icons — the company’s own SVG files from its server, used unaltered (the wordmark is white on the dark hero, dark on light pages).
- The palette and type — the 2015 stylesheet: cyan #35C7DD, teal #26A2B5, ink #232323, text #555555; proxima-nova and source-sans-pro, substituted with Montserrat and Source Sans 3.
- Location, founding year, headcount, financing and status — the PitchBook company profile (archived 2021): Cleveland, Ohio; founded 2013; 201 employees; formerly VC-backed; out of business.
- The 2014 page — the earliest capture: “Social Shopping Made Simple”, with the invite form.
What changed
Rebuilt, and said so
- Multi-page, not one page. The original was a single scrolling page; this rebuild splits the same material across six pages plus this one.
- The hero photographs are gone. The original rotated four background photographs with the four headlines; they were never archived, so the hero is a gradient in the brand colours.
- The workspace and flow diagrams are drawn for this rebuild. No screenshot of the product was ever published.
- No MailChimp. The beta form is a replica and posts nowhere.
- Two colour values were darkened for contrast: links and small caps use #0F6F7D instead of the bright teal, and buttons carry dark text on the brand cyan, because white on #26A2B5 measures 3.0:1.
- The typefaces are substitutes — proxima-nova and source-sans-pro were Adobe Fonts.
What is not claimed
The gaps
- No founders, investors, customers or pricing were published on the site, so none appear.
- No product screenshots or demo exist publicly.
- No claim that the product still exists. Rabblester is out of business; the beta was invite-only in 2015.
- The 2014 social-shopping page is not presented as the product — it is earlier positioning, recorded as history.
- The illustrations are the company’s; the two diagrams are this rebuild’s drawings.
